Directory Entry Terms of Service (TOS) |

This Section is to explain the requirements and obligations that a ‘Directory Entry' has to comply with to retain a ‘Listing’ and ‘Details’ page view within the 'Trades and Materials.com' Directory.
1. A business within the 'Trades and Materials.com' Directory will be suspended if under investigation by Trading Standards, Police or a recognised trades or business body. If no negative outcome from any investigation is received then the business will be re-instated.
2. If found to be conducting inappropriate business practice then the Entry within the Directory will be removed. No monies paid to 'Trades and Materials.com' will be refunded.
3. If three or more Registered Users, who have conducted business with a business entry, have shown that the business practice of the registered business entry is unsavoury, inefficient or is not providing the described service, the entry will be removed. No monies paid to 'Trades and Materials.com' will be refunded. 'Trades and Materials.com' will adjudicate on any dispute or report and their decision will be final.
4. Any disputes should be resolved via Private Messaging through this Website prior to 'Trades and Materials.com' adjudication. This correspondence should be polite and courteous at all times and the parties involved in the dispute are obliged to reply to any correspondence. If replies to correspondence are not forthcoming, 'Trades and Materials.com' adjudicate in favour of the recipient who has not received a reply.
5. Feedback will remain posted unless 'Trades and Materials.com' adjudicate that the said Feedback is unwarranted, unfair or malicious. A business has every right to ask 'Trades and Materials.com' to have negative Feedback removed under these circumstances. 'Trades and Materials.com' adjudication after correspondence is final. As above in Section 4 the correspondence should be polite and courteous at all times and the parties involved in the Feedback are obliged to reply to any correspondence.
6. Any business that has listed an invalid Landline telephone number will automatically be removed. No monies paid to 'Trades and Materials.com' will be refunded. A valid Landline telephone number is required to assure our Users that they are dealing with a bona fide business. Mobile numbers should not be entered into the compulsory Landline field; if they are the Entry in the 'Trades and Materials.com' Directory will automatically be removed. We ask our Registered Users to report Directory Details that contain an invalid or Mobile Telephone in a Landline field.
7. All business Entries listed in the 'Trades and Materials.com' Directory are obliged to reply to genuine e-mail inquiries received through this website. It can be a brief e-mail to acknowledge receipt of an inquiry, with a brief explanation that the provider is not in a position to assist with the inquiry at this moment in time. 'Trades and Materials.com' suggest an Auto Responder in times of high workload. 'Trades and Materials.com' PM, (Private Messaging), has an easy to use Auto Responder in Settings.
The above requirements are included within 'Trades and Materials.com' Terms and Conditions that Directory Entries agree to, prior to submitting a listing. 'Trades and Materials.com' ask our Registered Users to provide Feedback through the Directory Business Details to monitor abuse or misconduct within the Directory. Only Registered Users can Contact, Report or provide Feedback and Ratings. This is to protect our Directory Entries from SPAM, malicious entries, mail bots and other similar unsavoury Internet practices.
